Work. Side projects. School. Three islands. So I brought them all to the notch.

I'm an Applied AI Engineer in Montréal. I'm also a software engineering student, and I build side projects most nights. That's three workspaces, each with its own Jira, GitHub, deployments and inbox. Nothing was hard on its own. Keeping track of all of it was.

So I built the one place I was missing. CoIsland borrows the idea of Apple's Dynamic Island and turns the Mac's notch into a single view of every workspace. Every alert, issue and deployment says where it comes from: my job, my project or my coursework. One glance tells me what broke and where, and I act on it right there, or hand it to an AI agent that asks before it does anything.

I've run my days from the notch for more than two months. Nothing slips between workspaces anymore, and I no longer pay the tab-switching tax. If it does the same for you, or doesn't, write to me. I read every message.

Frequently asked questions

Which tools does CoIsland connect to?

35+ today, each through its own connector: your data (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt), your code and deploys (GitHub, Vercel), your issues (Jira, Linear, Notion), your on-call (Sentry, PagerDuty, Datadog), and your mail and calendar. The full list is on the Connectors page; more are on the way.

Can I ask for a connector?

Yes: write to hello@coisland.app with the tool you use and what you would watch in it.

Can an AI agent act on an alert?

Hand an alert to Claude Code, Codex or Cortex Code: the agent opens in a terminal under the alert, with the whole alert as its first message, and asks before it acts.

Does my data go through a CoIsland server?

No. There is no CoIsland server: the app talks to your tools directly from your Mac. When you hand an alert to an agent, that agent's own service receives it.

Where are my credentials stored?

Every connector's token is kept in the macOS Keychain. Snowflake connections can be imported from ~/.snowflake, the files the Snowflake CLI and Cortex Code use, which CoIsland never writes.

How often does a monitor check?

Each monitor runs on its own schedule, such as every 30 seconds or every 5 minutes.

What do I need?

A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later. It does not run on Intel Macs.

How much does it cost?
